Personnel Profiles

The following are profiles of key personnel in the Mold Services Group. In addition, we maintain a staff of certified mold inspectors and technicians for in house mold abatement services.

GARY H. HALL, PE
CEI, CRS, CTS, CES
PRESIDENT

Mr. Gary H. Hall, P.E., President and founder of GHH Engineering, Inc. (GHH) graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1973 with a degree in Civil & Sanitary Engineering.

Mr. Hall has over 29 years experience in all areas of civil engineering compliance including air quality. As a Registered Civil Engineer, CEI, CRS, CTS & CET with EAA, Mr. Hall has extensive experience with all types of environmental inspections and assessments.

For the past 23 years, Mr. Hall has been continuously involved with air quality management, hazardous waste and environmental compliance issues, including hydrogeological and geotechnical evaluations of site investigations and remediation pertaining to contamination caused by unauthorized releases of hazardous materials including airborne microorganisms caused by molds, fungus and bacteria, leaking underground storage tanks and aboveground surface impoundments.

Mr. Hall has been involved with all phases of mold management including: inspection, testing, evaluations, abatement and management, and assisted numerous school districts, homeowners, property managers, insurance companies and attorneys with mold related issues. He is actively involved in the development of procedures and protocols for mold sampling and abatement, and, is pursuing development of legislation and regulations regarding standards for mold sampling and assessment. Mr. Hall is under contract with the Environmental Assessment Association (EAA) to provide national training and certification for: Mold Awareness (101), Certified Mold Assessor (CMA-201), Certified Mold Inspector (CMI-30I) and Registered Mold Remediator (RMR-401).

He has presented papers on all aspects of mold management, and provided mold awareness training for home builders, plumbers, professional organizations, property managers, home inspectors, public agencies and county regulatory agencies. Mr. Hall has also provided litigation support and expert witness services in depositions for cases related to moisture intrusion and mold amplification abatement.


MARK A. JEGLIE
Senior Environmental Technician

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:

Mr. Mark Jeglie has over seven years of experience overseeing hazardous waste and environmental compliance projects. During the past two years he has worked extensively on mold investigation and abatement projects. Mr. Jeglie acts as field supervisor on mold abatement projects and assists in the preparation of mold abatement plans. His background in construction and knowledge of building codes and construction defects, gives him the ability to evaluate mold problems on a structural level and determine the appropriate steps to resolve the moisture problems that lead to mold growth.
